Cat Riddles

July 28, 2015 By Stephen Pepper

Here’s another set of animal riddles, with all of these ones having ‘cat’ as their answer.

The first few of them rhyme, while there’s also a one line and What Am I? riddle.

To use that last idea, read the first line to your kids and ask them to take a guess at what they think you’re describing.

If they’re wrong, read them the second clue and ask them to guess again. Keep doing this until they either guess that you’re describing a cat or they run out of clues.

Elephant Riddles

July 23, 2015 By Stephen Pepper

We’re publishing another set of animal riddles today, with this batch all having elephant as their answer.

The first five of these rhyme, while the sixth is a What Am I? riddle for kids.

With that final idea, read your children the first line and have them take a guess at what’s being described.

If they’re incorrect, read them the second clue and have them take another guess. Keep doing this until they realize that you’re describing an elephant or until they run out of clues.

Dragon Riddles

July 21, 2015 By Stephen Pepper

We’re continuing our series of animal riddles today with many where the answer is in fact a mythical creature – a dragon.

These ideas therefore also go well with our riddles for kids about monsters and other types of scary things.

There are six riddles in total – the first five are rhyming ones and the sixth asks your kids What Am I?

To use the last idea, read your children the first line of it and ask them to take a guess at what they think you’re describing.

If they don’t guess correctly, read them the second clue and have them guess again. Keep doing this until they either guess that the answer is dragon or they run out of clues.

From its mouth fire you would see

In movies about how to train them

Means that you would never be cold

Monkey Riddles

July 16, 2015 By Stephen Pepper

Our series of riddles with an animal theme continues today with five that all have the answer of monkey.

The first four of these are rhyming riddles, while the fifth asks What Am I?

To use the last idea, read the first line of it to your kids and have them take a guess at what it is they think you’re describing.

If they guess correctly – great! If not, read them the second clue and have them guess again. Keep doing this until they either work out that you’re describing a monkey or they run out of clues.

Fish Riddles

July 14, 2015 By Stephen Pepper

For the last few weeks we’ve been publishing a series of animal riddles for kids, a theme we’re continuing today with several that have ‘fish’ as the answer.

These can therefore also be matched with some of our other themes like nature and food.

There are six of them in total – the first five are rhyming ones, while the sixth is a What Am I? riddle.

To use that last one, read the first line of it to your kids and ask them to guess what they think it is that you’re describing.

If they’re not correct, read the second line to them and ask them to guess again. Continue with this until they either work out that the answer is fish or they run out of clues.
