Deck Of Cards Riddles

May 28, 2015 By Stephen Pepper

Today’s set of riddles for kids all have a deck of playing cards as their answer.

These are therefore perfect for using our other game and toy riddles.

The first three of these are rhyming riddles, while the fourth asks What Am I?

To use the fourth idea, read the first clue to your children and get them to guess what they think the answer is. If they’re not correct, read them the second clue and get them to take another guess.

Keep doing this until they either get the right answer or they run out of clues.

Leprechaun Riddles

February 26, 2015 By Stephen Pepper

Here are some riddles for children where the answer is ‘leprechaun.’ These ideas are therefore perfect for using with all of our other St Patrick’s Day riddles.

The first four of these rhyme, while the fifth asks your kids What Am I?

To use the fifth riddle, read the first line to your kids (or have them read it themselves), then get them to take a guess at what they think is being described.

If they don’t answer correctly, read them the second clue and get them to guess again. Keep doing this until they either guess the correct answer or run out of clues.

If you’re using these for some kind of St Patrick’s Day activities, you may also like these scavenger hunt ideas with the same theme.

October 23, 2013 By Stephen Pepper

Here are several riddles for kids that have the answer ‘cauldron’.

These can therefore be used with many different types of other riddle themes, such as:

  • Witches
  • Magic
  • Halloween

The first few riddles rhyme, while the final one asks the question What Am I?

To use the last riddle, read the first line of it to your children and have them guess what they think the item is.

If they guess incorrectly, read out the second clue and get them to guess again. Keep going until your kids either work out that the answer is cauldron or they run out of clues.

Broomstick Riddles

October 15, 2013 By Stephen Pepper

Here are six riddles for kids where the answer is a broomstick.

Most of them are rhyming riddles and are great for using for Halloween games or any kind of activities that have a magic, witches and wizards or Harry Potter theme.

The final one is a little different though as it’s a What Am I riddle. With this one, you should read the clue that’s on the first line to your kids and get them to guess the answer.

If they’re not correct, read the second clue and have them guess again. Keep going until they guess that the answer’s broomstick or until there are no more clues.

If you like these ideas, you may also like our riddles about witches and Halloween.
