Bible Riddles

January 3, 2017 By Stephen Pepper

Here are five riddles for kids where the answer is the Bible. These are therefore great for using with our other Bible-themed, Christian and book riddles.

The first four of these are rhyming riddles, while the fifth asks your kids What Am I?

To use that final riddle, read the first line of it to your children and have them try guessing what they think the answer might be. As the clue is that it’s something split into two sections but which isn’t a game of soccer, they might guess that it’s a baseball inning, theater play or a Twix.

If they don’t guess that the Bible is the answer, read them the clue on the second line and ask them to guess again. Keep doing this until they either guess that the answer is the Bible or they run out of clues.

Book Riddles

September 1, 2016 By Stephen Pepper

Here are six riddles for kids where the answer is a book, so they’re great for using with our other library, household item and school riddles.

The first five of these are rhyming riddles, with the word ‘book’ completing the rhyme of the fifth.

The sixth and final riddle asks your kids What Am I? To use that one, read the clue that’s on the first line to your children and ask them to guess what they think the answer might be. As the clue is that it’s something that has letters and numbers but which isn’t a computer keyboard, they might guess that it’s a cellphone, credit card or a billboard.

If they don’t guess that a book is the answer, read them the second clue and have them guess again now that they have some additional information. Keep doing this until they either work out that it’s a book or they run out of clues.

England Riddles

October 13, 2015 By Stephen Pepper

Today we have six riddles for kids where the answer to each one is England.

These are perfect for using with all of our other country and geography riddles, with some of them also being good for using with other themes like food, sports and books.

The first five of them rhyme with the sixth asking your kids What Am I?

To use that last idea, read the first line to your children and ask them to take a guess at the answer. There are many countries that have a red and white flag, so if they don’t guess that the answer is England, read them the clue on the second line and ask them to take another guess.

Keep doing this until they either guess the right answer or they run out of clues.
