Dice Riddles

Here are five riddles for kids where the answer is dice. These are therefore great for using with all our other game and toy riddles.

The first four of these are rhyming riddles, with the word ‘dice’ completing the rhyme of the fourth, while the fifth is a What Am I riddle.

To use that last riddle, read the clue on the first line to your kids and have them try guessing the answer. As the clue is that it’s something that’s rolled but which isn’t a ball, they might guess that it’s a rolling pin, a wheel or a barrel.

If they don’t guess that some dice is the answer, read them the second clue and have them guess again. Keep going until they either guess that the answer is dice or they run out of clues.

When you are playing a board game
I might be something that you hold

You shake me and then I am rolled

Although it is not a doll
It has spots on its six sides
You hold it and then you roll

In order to play a board game
They have spots on them and they get rolled
So can you tell me, what’s their name?

I have several faces but I’m not a group of people
I’m covered in spots but I don’t have acne
I’m sometimes blown on but I’m not hot
I’m a cube but I’m not made of ice

Diamond Riddles

We have five riddles for kids today where the answer to each one is diamond.

These therefore go well with our jewelry riddles, while some of them can also be used with our other themes such as sports, shapes and toys.

The first four of these rhyme, while the fifth is a What Am I riddle.

To use that last riddle, read the first line to your children and ask them to guess the answer. As it’s something that can be cut, they might suggest grass, fingernails or paper.

If they don’t guess the correct answer, read them the second clue and ask them to guess again. Keep going until they either guess that diamond is the answer or they run out of clues.

Doll Riddles

We’ve been publishing quite a few riddles recently that are toys or games. We’re continuing that theme today with a set that all have ‘doll’ as their answer.

The first three of these riddles for kids rhyme, while the fourth asks them “What Am I?”

To use the final idea, read the first line of it to your kids and see if they can work out that it’s a doll that’s being described.

If not, read them the second line and have them guess again. Keep going until they either guess correctly or they run out of clues.

Deck Of Cards Riddles

Today’s set of riddles for kids all have a deck of playing cards as their answer.

These are therefore perfect for using our other game and toy riddles.

The first three of these are rhyming riddles, while the fourth asks What Am I?

Balloon Riddles

We’re blowing things up today with a set of riddles that all have ‘balloon’ as their answer.

These are therefore great for using with our other riddles for kids which have a game or toy theme.

The first four of these rhyme, while the fifth is a What Am I? riddle. Here’s how to use that final option:

Read the first line of it to your kids (or have them read it themselves) and have them guess what they think is being described.

If they’re not correct, read them the second line and have them guess again. Keep going until they guess correctly or run out of clues.

If you’re using any of these riddles as an activity for your children, check out Youth Workin’ It for all kinds of ideas for balloon games.
