We’re continuing our series of animal riddles today with a few where cow is the answer.
The first three of these rhyme, while the fourth is a What Am I? riddle. With that final idea, read the first line to your kids and get them to guess what they think the answer is.
If they’re incorrect, read them the second clue and get them to guess again. Keep going until they either guess that the answer is a cow or they run out of clues.
Cow Riddles For Kids
You might find these in a field
If they have horns I’d be wary
The females produce white stuff
That gets classified as dairy
They live in a field
Milk is what they make
They help give us leather
And a juicy steak
They sometimes wear a bell
But never a rattle
A group’s known as a herd
Or sometimes as cattle
What Am I?
I sometimes have a bell but I’m not a bicycle
I have four legs but I’m not a dog
I have calves but I’m not referring to my legs
I’m found on a farm but I’m not a pig
I provide milk but I’m not a coconut
