Continuing with our series of food riddles, here are some where the answer is ‘cookie’.
Three of these rhyme, while the fourth is a What Am I? riddle.
To use the last one, have your kids read the first clue and guess what they think is being described. If they’re incorrect, have them read the second line and guess again.
Keep going until they either work out that the answer is ‘cookie’ or until they run out of clues.
Cookie Riddles For Kids
I am sometimes made of sugar
And sometimes of oatmeal
Chocolate chip ones taste so good
You might find that you squeal!
~
Some people prefer them with raisins
Some like them to contain chocolate chips
Whichever kind of these you like though
They don’t last long once they’ve passed your lips
~
You can buy these snacks pre-baked
Or you can buy them as dough
Which are then baked by yourself
Unless you eat them raw though
~
What Am I?
I’m round but I’m not a wheel
I’m loved by a monster but I’m not the Bride of Frankenstein
I sometimes contain chips but I’m not a computer
I go well with milk but I’m not a bowl of cereal
I’m made of dough but I’m not a loaf of bread
